I am a Dallas rocker whos been playing guitar for 17 years, I been listening to metal music since I was a kid when I was in Mexico, my first song that got my attention when I was 6 years old was the theme song from the Flash Gordon Movie which was from Queen which I couldnt stop playing on my brothers tape player, then they started bringing records from Iron Maiden Black Sabbath Scorpions Metallica Slayer Metal Church etc, when I first wanted to play guitar my dad bougt me a cheap acostic guitar in the streests from my hometown from an artesan, I broke so many strings in that guitar, that guitar is in my heart forever, then when I came to the US I asked my brothers to buy me a guitar and they said no, you gotta learn to play the guitar first( then I thought how in the hell am I gonna learn to play guitar if I dont have a goddam guitar?) eventually they bought me a a cheap fender and another thing was when I wanted an amp I remember we went to the nearest guitar center and as soon as I player the first cord with distortion my brother went"that amp is broke!" that got me laughing since my brother who bought me the amp never listened to metal before, one day after all this I was invited to try for a spanish rock band and I played a song from Scorpions, the guy who was doing the tryout inmediately said I got the gig, since then I been in a couple of few bands in the Dallas area, most recently I played with a band called Sekret Soziety and right now I have a project with the bass player and drummer from the same band and hopefully one day I get an endorsement from Dean and Krank, cheers bro !!
