Hedras Ramos Jr. is a 16 years old self-taught Guatemalan guitarist who got immersed into the world of music heavily influenced by his parents, since music plays a very important roll in the family. When he was a baby -even before learning to walk- he had his first experiences recording vocals along with his sisters on TV & Radio commercials at the audio production company of his father (www.audio7.ws). At age of 6 he started with Drums lessons from great drummers in the area and at the age of 8 he received a small replica of a Les Paul, that’s where his interest for the guitar arose, but it wasn’t until he became 13 that he took the instrument seriously. His growth after that has been truly exceptional. The basic tips and guitar lessons from his father Hedras Ramos, the ample access to amps, guitars, books, videos, CDs, in the house and the familiarity with his father’s recording studio were a great help to get better each day. But the main truth is that he credits God for the gift and talent given to him and the discipline and commitment to the instrument studying 6 to 8 hours daily after high school. Hedras is just launching his first album with a private concert on October 23rd 2008 in the city of Guatemala presented to VIP people from the Media, sponsors, key people and friends, having also as a guest of honor, USA recording drummer and good friend Billy Ashbaugh (Greg Howe, Britney Spears, N’Sync, Justin Timberlake, Aaron Carter).
