Kirk Andrews lives in Florida where he is a premier rock guitar teacher. His full time job is giving lessons to approximately 40 students per week, and he absolutely loves it! Kirk has been playing the guitar for over 25 years now. Favorite guitarists are Satriani, Vai, Schenker, Skolnick and Petrucci. Throughout the decades he has studied metal, rock, blues and classical guitar extensively. Kirk has won several awards and accolades including; Texas Jam Magazine’s, “Hard Rock Guitar Player Of The Year” in 1993, winner of several “Battle of the Bands” competitions, and has taught over 1000 students. In doing so he has gained a great deal of respect from his fellow guitar players. Throughout the late eighties and early nineties, Kirk played in several hard rock bands, recording various demo CD’s. Kirk has had the distinct pleasure of meeting and talking with Joe Satriani, opening for Pantera, and jamming with Eric Johnson and others.
