DOA 2003
That's right folks! The second annual Dean Owners of America Club (affectionately know as the "DOA") meeting was held this past Friday, Feb 28th 2002 in Clearwater, Florida! Die Hard Members of the DOA, trekked to the Dean World Headquarters for two days of red carpet treatment which consisted of guitar ogling, autographs, a facility tour, giveaways, surprizes, workshop,and a 5 Star evening of food, drink, and unrivaled hospitality.



The first night consisted of great performance by Dean Tech Pat and his killer road band. Guest players included Dean's Tony Purnell, Gen from the Genitorturers belting out a great punk cover of "TNT"(this was killer), DOA President Brave Dave showcasing his guitar and vocal prowess, and even Dean Owner Elliott Rubinson busted out his monster chops (had to see it to beleive it!). The setting was absolutely unreal, being hosted at none other that the world famed Kapok Pavillion. Needless to say the food was superb as was the open bar.

The next day included an afternoon of pizza, guitar ogling, autographs, a facility tour, giveaways, surprizes, a hardtail workshop, and a chance to see and purchase vintage Deans. There were one 1-on-1 workshops with the entire Dean Crew, with considerable notes on "The process behind the extraordinary HardTail".The highlight of the day included the revealing of the 2003 Limited Edition DOA Caddy in Silverburst. Only 50 will be made and it looks as though their almost all sold out...
