535 (five-thirty-five) is the tween-aged sensation rock band from Orlando Florida that is sure to be the next big thing. 535 is 12 year old Parker Landis on lead guitar and vocals, 11 year old Griffin Landis on bass guitar and vocals, and 11 year old Jullian Piccione on drums and vocals.
Together they have proven themselves to be a serious solid rock band, blowing away audiences in and around Central Florida since early last year. (When they were all a year younger than they are now!) They formed the band in January of 2007 in order to play a song in their grade school talent show.
The boys named the band 535 after the name of a county road adjacent to their neighborhood. The talent show never happened, but the band still performed 3 songs at Bay Meadows Elementary, and the response was phenomenal. They immediately became in high demand playing shows at various schools, festivals, and radio promotions, all the while writing and adding new songs. They eventually wrote and recorded enough songs to release a full-length album called “That’s How We Roll” on their own independent label Rocker Records. The title track is a classic rock anthem with big hooks and power chords that define the overall sound of the band. Other songs like “Hey Girl”, “Up All Night”, and “Come And Get It” are equally infectious jams that round out the album, and sound even better live. No sooner did the album drop that the calls began pouring in for meetings with major record labels in New York and L.A. The boys were invited to record 6 songs with multi platinum producer Drew Lane, of Hannah Montana, and High School Musical fame.
They recently signed a major management deal with Crear Management Group (Jonas Brothers, Justin Timberlake, Janet Jackson) and are in negotiations for a television development deal, and major-label recording contract. They are currently writing and rehearsing new material for their next album, and playing a steady schedule of shows that include a series of dates the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Studios Florida.
